Eric Osborne of Magnificent Mushrooms is returning to lead this three-hour hands-on workshop for anyone interested in home production of mushrooms for food, health and environmental benefit. Participants will receive an introduction to general mycology and ten species of mushrooms good for home production. Students will learn about log and straw inoculations and the steps to create a morel patch in a small woodlot.  For an additional fee registrants can purchase spawn and materials to start home production. Advance orders preferred.

Supplies for home mushroom production will be available directly through Magnificent Mushrooms after the class.
