Children have a different set of eyes than adults. They see the world with a sense of wonder that many adults have forgotten. Spend a bit of time with this exhibition of art and get your eyesight back. The color illustrations, by students of art instructor Joan Firster, include insects, reptiles, amphibians, native flowers, plants and fungi. They also include the footprints of animals that passed through the forest.

Pick up an “eye spy” sheet at the Education Center desk and see if you can match images on the discovery sheet to the art works that contain them. We also invite you to submit your choices for the visitors pick award.

A closing reception and recognition ceremony for the artists and their families will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 15th. Stop by and greet these “budding” artists and enjoy the entire day with your family at Bernheim during BloomFest.
