Imagine such peace that the only sound you hear is the frozen grass crunching below your feet. Imagine a glistening tree structure that only nature can build. Imagine forgetting the rat race of day-to-day living and escaping to the winter landscape of Bernheim.
I hear stories regularly from members and other visitors, that their favorite time to visit Bernheim is during the winter. Words commonly used in describing these winter experiences include: beautiful, peaceful, inspiring and refreshing. Discovering the winter landscape with suddenly revealed tree trunks and rolling hills, birds easily observable and crisp, clean air filling your lungs is quite an experience. I encourage you to visit Bernheim early in the winter season. I subscribe to the belief which is expressed by many, that an early outing into a naturally beautiful place, makes the cold of winter more tolerable (and even enjoyable) for the rest of the season.
Come out and see for yourself the restorative power of winter’s peaceful beauty.
