Thanks to a small but dedicated troop of volunteer beekeepers, Bernheim is once again abuzz with working hives. Join them for an inside peek into the secret lives of bees; and into some of the secrets of beekeeping for beginners. O.W.L.S. (Older Wiser Livelier Seniors) programs are a series of nature rambles, hikes, and presentations, each designed especially for seniors. Please dress for outdoor conditions (sandals are not recommended). Afterwards, you may wish to order lunch from Isaac’s Café in the Visitor Center – rounding out a perfect day!
