is based on the reports of Charles R. Gunn (1959. A
Flora of Bernheim Forest, Bullitt County, Kentucky,
Castanea, 24: 61-98) and Max E. Medley (1984. The
spontaneous Vascular Flora of Bernheim Forest, Bullitt
County, Kentucky, Special Report, University of
Louisville). This list also includes some hybrids from
the arboretum
areas.
